2. Physical Development

Gross Motor Skills
Running, jumping, climbing, crawling, balancing.
Participating in outdoor play with balls, ride-ons, and slides.
Fine Motor Skills
Scribbling with crayons.
Finger painting and clay modeling.
Picking and placing objects, stacking blocks.
Practicing hand-eye coordination through puzzles and sorting games.
3. Language & Communication Development

Listening to rhymes, stories, and songs.
Responding to simple instructions.
Identifying familiar objects and pictures.
Learning basic vocabulary (family, body parts, animals, colors, etc.).
4. Cognitive / Early Concept Development

Sorting by color, shape, or size.
Recognizing familiar faces, animals, and objects.
Identifying and naming common shapes and primary colors.
Counting orally (1-5) through rhymes and play.
Understanding simple opposites (big-small, up-down).
5. Creative & Aesthetic Development

Free drawing, painting, scribbling.
Music and movement activities (dance, action songs).
Dramatic play (pretend kitchen, doctor set, doll play).
Exploring textures (sand play, water play, playdough).
6 . Sensory & Environmental Awareness

Nature walks and outdoor exploration.
Identifying sounds (bells, birds, vehicles).
Exploring different materials (soft, hard, rough, smooth)
Learning about community helpers and animals in simple ways.

At this stage, children begin to build on playgroup foundations with more structured routines, pre-literacy, pre-numeracy, and social skills.
